Jesus Is My Living Water
By Kerri Bland
And the Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in a scorched place ... And you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 59:11

Relationships can be difficult. Challenging interactions with people are used by God to grow me up, but in the process I can feel alone and scorched. Many years ago I dreaded attending an extended family event and shared this burden with Ann Klopp. She suggested I meditate on Isaiah 59:11.
I am learning that in the midst of dry relationships I am called to be walking so closely with Jesus that my well of living water is full and can be spilled out for others. Yesterday’s water is stale, not fresh. If I want to be used today, I need to first read His Word and drink fresh water from Jesus—the Source of Living Water.

To what relationship will you bring a cup of Living Water today?
Jesus, Living Water, You satisfy my every physical and emotional need.
I want to be a well-watered garden and a source of Your refreshment to the people You bring into my life today.
